It’s pronounced like “Julia” And I'm a writer and journalist based in Miami. I am currently a reporter at POLITICO covering criminal justice reform. This June, I’ll be starting at The New York Times as a reporting fellow for its National desk.
I’m also working towards my M.A. in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I am a fully funded Roy H. Park Fellow.
I’m a proud member of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ), the Carolina Association of Black Journalists (CABJ) and the Association of LGBTQ Journalists (NLGJA).
